Aireg - Fermented mare's milk, or "Mongolian Beer"
Buuz - ("boats") Traditional Mongolian steamed dumplings, usually stuffed with mutton, fat and onions
CED - Community Economic Development
Delguur - small shop (usually food)
Ger - Traditional Mongolian housing, a circular felt tent
Hashaa - Either the fence around a house or ger, or the area inside the fence
Hudoo - Countryside
LCF - Language and Culture Facilitator
Micr - Microbus (common form of transportation in Mongolia)
NGO - Non-governmental Organization
PCT - Pre-Service Training or Peace Corps Trainee
PCV - Peace Corps Volunteer
TEFL - Teaching English as a Foreign Language
Tugrik - Mongolian Currency ($1 = 1,167 Tugriks)
UB - Ulaanbaatar, the capital city, known to PCVs as the most magical place in the world where you can buy ANYTHING
